Geoffrey has more than 18 years of experience in both civil and criminal fraud investigation and litigation focusing on healthcare and other financial frauds. Geoffrey has extensive experience in government investigations directed at major healthcare corporations, including pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers, laboratory chains and other healthcare companies facing official inquiries under the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, Prescription Drug Marketing Act and HIPAA. Geoffrey also has a deep background in the regulatory/legal aspects of fraud investigations affecting the healthcare industry, and has diverse experience in providing expert legal analysis on this subject to major health insurers and others. Prior to joining Navigant, Geoffrey was a federal prosecutor for more than nine years specializing in healthcare investigations as an Assistant United States Attorney in both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
