Samuel Porteous is responsible for Navigant Consulting's Asian practice. Since 1989, he has specialized in risk mitigation in international business. Prior to joining Navigant he directed the Asian region of a major global risk management company. During the last seven years in Shanghai he has observed on a daily basis the challenges of doing business in China. He has directed or been involved in many of the most complex business intelligence and internal fraud inquiries conducted in mainland China. His views on international risk management in Asia have been published in the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times and many major professional journals.
